teaspoon14's The Corresponding Emotion is a breezy, fun gay UST-fest set in *snicker* South Carolina. I didn't believe the Harry characterization until the last part (and then I really did, despite myself), but Draco is perfect, and Ron! I <3 Ron!

I don't think I clicked with Room Serviced by pir8fancier the first time I read it -- something about the style was a bit off-putting, perhaps. And yet I keep coming back to it. It may be strange to say, but I love that crimsonclad's Domestic has really very little to do with Harry or any of the trio. It's very much about Draco, and what happens in his life outside of school, and the connections he's able to forge when blood ties let him down.

I think this story by rhoddlet isn't so much a story, in the sense that it isn't polished and reads more like snippets of things just posted to LJ. But I'm recommending it anyway for the feel of it, the seemingly effortless poetry of rhoddlet's writing, and the idea that death doesn't leave the Potterverse even after the bad guys are gone.

Roundabout by arakne is a story with a Draco/Hermione pairing that's mysterious and surprisingly affecting, mostly because Draco is allowed to be mysterious, his allegiances unexplained. Last time around I recommended Helen's Close Enough (Harry/Ron). Now I want to point out a couple of her LJ-only snippets: things she hadn’t ever known to ask for a harshly-realized Trio ficlet set during the war, and Do Better, a Draco/Ron set at Hogwarts. Vicarious by squeakyclean goes something like this: Draco/Hermione, Draco/Harry, Harry/Hermione. I'm not quite sure I agree with the ending, but I like how it gets there. The prose is vivid, the glimpses of backstory are tantalizing, and really, I just like this story's idea of Hermione: mysterious and inexplicable and desirable.

A Sweet Reversion by Amy is very clever. It is really an unbelievable treat to find clever HP stories, stories that show the author can shake out interesting things from the Potterverse just as well as J.K. Rowling herself.
